the pistol dated for 1913, with exposed 5in. barrel, blade fore-sight, squared slide and breech, adjustable rear-sight, exposed ring hammer, make and model details to left hand side of slide, steel frame with chequered hard rubber grips, grip safe to rear, lanyard ring and push-button magazine release at heel, much dull but probably original finish throughout and in a Royal Navy issue full-flap leather holster with riveted construction, applied shoulder strap fitted within its working life and a certificate of proof
