GERMAN 16-BORE BOXLOCK NON-EJECTOR, serial no. 16598, circa 1920, 29 3/8in. nitro reproved barrels (in 1976), the breech-ends marked 'PRIMA KRUPP STAHL.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 choke in both, scroll-backed treble-grip action, automatic safety with engraved 'SICHER' detail, cocking indicators, acanthus scroll engraving surrounding woodland game scenes on a matted background, bright finish, 13 3/8in. pistolgrip stock with pistolgrip cap, cheekpiece, including horn buttplate, fore-end with Deeley & Edge release catch and horn finial, leather sling, weight 6lb. 3oz.
