A PATTERN 1908 CAVALRY SWORD IN EXCAVATED CONDITION, early 20th Century, 35 in single-edged blade, ricasso with Broad Arrow and 'EFD' plus inspection marks, one-piece composition grip, blade stained with pitting on the ricasso, all exposed metalwork deeply rusted, pitted and dented, and appears to have been underground for a considerable period
