AN IMPERIAL GERMAN WORLD WAR I ARTILLERY OFFICER'S SWORD, circa late 19th Century, 35 in. single-edged blade fullered on each side and etched with floral designs and stands of arms, stirrup hilt with quilloned cross-guard, wire-bound fish-skin grip, steel scabbard with two suspension rings. no apparent markings, blade with some staining, hilt with rust patches and pitting, scabbard dented with blinded pitting
