circa 1927, with blued 7 1/8in. barrel, pull-back barrel latch, adjustable rear-sight, the side of breech with 'BRITISH PATENT No. 219872' and 'FOREIGN PATENTS PENDING', blued stepped air-chamber with model name to the left side of nose, maker's details further back including 'LONDON' in the address, blued frame with four-pin trigger unit, rotating safety catch, no provision for trigger adjuster, smooth walnut 'thin' grips with Webley 'winged bullet' medallion inlet in the left example, original blued finish (faded)
