A RARE CANADIAN TELESCOPE, OBSERVING, SNIPER'S 25x50 CMK 1 TELESCOPE WITH TRANSIT CASE AND FOLDING BRACKET,
the telescope dated for 1944, with olive green leatherette covered body, forward mounted sunshade, the single draw in green-grey anodised alloy, the rear of telescope marked around the ocular lens 'TELESCOPE, OBSERVING, SNIPER'S CMK 1' above '25x50' and also 'CGB 32 MA' and 'R.E.L. CANADA' over '1944' and '86C' (hard rubber eye-piece absent), 25in. overall extended, in its olive green hard rubber covered aluminium transit case marked similarly but dated 1945, bayonet fitting end-cap (dented), webbing carry strap (split) and with its seldom encountered folding stand or tree-clamp marked 'STAND, INSTRUMENT' also by 'R.E.L. CANADA' and dated 1945
