A LATE WAR MODEL 'B2' FAIRBAIRN-SYKES COMMANDO DAGGER,
circa 1944/45, with blue-black 6 7/8in. double edged stiletto blade, oval blued steel cross-guard stamped on the reverse with a broad arrow and 'B2', blackened copper alloy ring handle swelling at the centre and flaring at the pommel with bun-shaped nut, good condition and in its issue leather scabbard with brass drag, intact sleeve-tabs and elastic loop retainer
