A 12-BORE SELECTIVE SINGLE-TRIGGER SIDELOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 10107,
circa 1905, 28in. sleeved nitro barrels (in 1997), the rib with re-engraved 'J. BURROW MAKER 116 FISHERGATE. PRESTON.' address, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, treble-grip action with removable striker discs, carved stylised leaf fences, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, the left lockplate with barrel selector slide and gold-inlaid 'L' and 'R' details, double rolled-edge triggerguard, profusely engraved with fine acanthus scroll engraving, the lockplates with bold stylised art nouveau scrollwork on a matted background interspersed with mythical birds and a winged lion battling a serpent, 14 1/4in. well-figured stock (slightly cast on for the left shoulder) with engraved steel heel and toe plates, weight 6lb. 10oz.
