for 1860, with early variant 7 1/2in. barrel of round profile, the top stamped 'ADDRESS SAML COLT HARTFORD CT.', applied nickel fore-sight, un-numbered working replacement wedge, matching number fully fluted six-shot cylinder (patent details lost), four screw open frame with cut-outs to the recoil shield, single action mechanism (currently not holding on full-cock), traces of silver plating to the front-strap and bow, the back-strap of iron, possible replacement one-piece walnut grip and creeping rammer with traces of colour
