circa 1897, with nickel-plated 6 1/2in. barrel, the raised sighting rib signed 'SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A.', pinned fore-sight blade, break-open frame with auto-ejecting fluted cylinder, colour hardened hammer, trigger and trigger guard bow (faded), replacement smooth walnut grips, plated finish with some frosting and minor flaking, with a certificate of proof
