BIRMINGHAM', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, pitted, arcaded fences with matted panelling, automatic safety, border and bold acanthus scroll engraving, scrolling banners to the sides engraved 'A. ILSLEY & CO.', retaining slight traces of colour-hardening, 14 5/8in. figured stock (slightly cast on) including buttplate, weight 4lb. 6oz.
