SELF EJECTOR. 142. NEW BOND STREET. LONDON.' and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech-end, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke, Greener patent action, patent no. 2003 of 9th May 1881, hold-open toplever, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, intercepting sears, fine acanthus scroll engraving, the makers name in a scrolling banner, retaining very slight traces of colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/8in. figured stock, weight 6lb. 14oz.
