* A .476 LONDON RETAILED COLT MODEL 1878 FRONTIER DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, serial no. 26496,
for 1890, with 5 1/2in. nickel-plated barrel signed 'COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. DEPOT 14 PALL MALL LONDON', blade fore-sight, sighting groove to the top-strap, plated cylinder with long flutes, iron frame with Colt's trademark within a circle on the left and further stamped 'B1 81' on the right, plated integral grip-straps, chequered hard rubber birdshead grips, push-button cylinder release and shaped ejector rod handle, finish lost to top-front of frame, ejector rod housing and muzzle.
