'SPORTMODELL V' BOLT-ACTION SINGLE-SHOT TARGET / TRAINING RIFLE, serial no. 36696W, circa 1938-9, 25in. heavy nitro barrel, adjustable tangent rear sight, ramped post fore-sight with tunnel protector, the breech end marked 'WALTHER' within a banner and 'SPORTMODELL V', receiver with built in sight rails and marked 'Waffenfabrik Walther Zella-Mehlis Thuringen.', manual flag safety, blued finish, semi-pistolgrip halfstock with sling eyes, the butt stock with Parker Hale element holder (no elements present, but has a piece of the chipped buttplate in it), 13 3/4in. pull (split to left side towards the grip) including trademark buttplate (chipped at toe), weight 7lb. 8oz.
