A CONTINENTAL 10MM PINFIRE DOUBLE-BARRELLED BOXLOCK PISTOL WITH BAYONET, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number, circa 1850's, with 4 1/2in. part octagonal with top and bottom flat barrels, top flat mounted with diamond section 3in. non-automatic folding bayonet, rectangular boxlock action with diamond style engraving, plain hammers, fluted one-piece hardwood grip (possibly replacement), moulded iron pommel cap and lanyard ring, concealed automatic triggers, side mounted push button opening, the whole cleaned bright of finish
