circa 1905, 30in. nitro reproved bold damascus barrels (in 1973), the rib engraved 'JOSEPH BOURNE & SON. LONDON & BIRMINGHAM' (refreshed), 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and full choke, left wall thickness at 17+, treble-grip action, automatic safety, bold acanthus scroll engraving with 'JOSEPH BOURNE & SON' in scrolling banners to the sides, retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening, 15 3/4in. semi-pistolgrip stock with recessed chequered side panels and steel heel and toe plates, bolstered fore-end wood, weight 6lb. 10oz.
