LONDON. and with acanthus scroll detailing, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, Murcott patent hammerless action, patent no. 1003 of 15th April 1871, use number 3250, push-forward underlever, manual lever safety with gold-inlaid 'LOCK'D' detail, profusely engraved with acanthus scrollwork with floral bouquets and feathered bordering, the lockplates signed 'T. MURCOTT'S PATENT' in scroll banners, disassembled but appearing at leas mostly complete
