A CONTINENTAL 32-BORE PERCUSSION BOXLOCK POCKET PISTOL, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number, circa 1840's, with 2 5/8in. round turn-off barrel (frozen), foliate engraved rectangular boxlock action, off-centre mounted hammer, fluted dark hardwood grip (repaired at the wrist), moulded iron pommel cap, engraved concealed automatic trigger, the whole cleaned bright of finish
