GUNMAKERS' with bold acanthus detailing and a single gold line, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, hold-open toplever, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'OVER', 'UNDER' and 'SAFE' details, carved fences, short side-bolsters carved in relief with a dragon with gold detailing, double rolled-edge triggerguard, the whole profusely engraved in high relief with stylised acanthus leaves and scrolls, interspersed with a variety of mythical beast heads and highlighted with gold detailing, the action sides gold-inlaid 'T.R. WHITE, SON & CO.', the triggerguard tang gold-inlaid with the serial number, 15 1/2in. figured pistolgrip stock with domed steel pistolgrip-cap, engraved and gold-highlighted en suite, the fore-end with finely inletted finial and further engraved with gold-highlighted scroll and beast motifs, weight 7lb. 8oz., in its lightweight leather case
