circa 1890, with ovoid tapering 2 1/2in. iron barrel, the sighting plane signed 'COLT'S PT FA. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.' on two lines together with 'No.2', nickel crescent fore-sight, the barrel rotating sideways to load, loose scroll engraved iron receiver with chequered spur trigger and exposed central hammer and fitted with chequered walnut birdshead grips
