PAPE, NEWCASTLE, serial no. 17408 for circa 1924, 20in. blued sighted barrel (rear-sight incomplete) with contemporary British Cordite proof, blued receiver (tang-screws replaced), 14 1/8in. figured pistolgrip stock with chequered grip, engraved steel butt-plate with hinged trap-cover.
