circa 1863, with blued octagonal 8in. barrel signed by the maker and marked 'NEW MODEL', pinched blade fore-sight, sighting groove to the solid top-strap, plain six-shot cylinder, solid frame with brass trigger guard, smooth walnut grips, the left with a martial cartouche, 'W' & 'P' inspector's stamps, strong amount of finish remaining
