A GROUP OF THREE LATE 19th - EARLY 20th CENTURY SHEFFIELD CUTLERY-HILTED DAGGERS,
the first signed 'MANSON', with straight double-edged 6 1/4in. spear-point blade, signed forte, nickel boat shaped cross-guard with turned ball quillions and nickel cutlery hilt with embossed ornamentation, the second unsigned, of similar form but with 5in. blade, both sides etched with scrolls around the legend 'DO NOT DRAW ME WITHOUT REASON' over 'OR SHEATH ME WITHOUT HONOUR' (rubbed, faint), narrow straight nickel boat-shaped cross-guard and nickel embossed cutlery hilt, the last a period 'J.E. MIDDLETON', with broader 5 1/2in. blade, oval nickel cross-guard and embossed nickel hilt, all lacking scabbards
