2) blade marked 'JOSEPH ROGERS / & SONS' ricasso marked 'No. 6 / NORFOLK St. / SHEFFIELD';
3) blade marked 'TRADE MARK' with barrel trademark, ricasso marked 'JOHN PETTY / & SONS / SHEFFIELD' with 'HAND / FORGED' over;
4) blade marked 'J. PARKES / C. S. C. T'; 5) square-tipped blade, ricasso indistinctly marked 'ENCORE / T. TURNER & Co / BEST STEEL'; all with staining and varying amounts of blinded pitting
