circa 1925, with blued octagonal 26in. barrel signed by the maker and marked 'SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL', dove-tailed fore-sight, buckhorn rear-sight, slab-sided side-ejecting receiver marked 'MARLIN SAFETY' on the top, exposed hammer, the top-tang with model details, walnut straight-hand butt-stock, beavertail fore-end and full-length magazine tube, some refinishing, stock cracked lengthways and repaired
