* A .380 (C/F) HILL'S PATENT SELF-EXTRACTING REVOLVER, marked B24K,
circa 1875, with octagonal 5 1/8in. barrel, the right hand side inscribed 'HILL'S PATENT SELF EXTRACTOR' and later stamping 'B24K', crescent fore-sight faceted top-strap with crescentic 'claw' operating on the cylinder extraction star, break up and over frame released via a catch at the bottom front edge of trigger-guard (barrel loose on frame), plain six-shot cylinder, semi saw-handled chequered walnut grips and guarded double-action trigger, the whole retaining a strong amount of original nickel-plated finish
