circa 1860, with blued 3 1/4in. barrel, solid top-strap signed 'MADE FOR ADAMS REVOLVING ARMS CO. N.J.' over 'BY MASS ARMS CO CHICOPEE FALLS' above patents to 1855 (some obscured), plain five-shot cylinder, double action mechanism with spurred hammer, chequered walnut semi saw-handled grip and Kerr style rammer to left side of barrel, traces of finish and in a later adapted leather holster
