LONDON', and gold-inlaid '1' and '2', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, treble-grip actions, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, incorporating T. Southgate ejectors, patent no. 8239 of 24th April 1893, use numbers 1650 / 1, patent gas checks, fine acanthus scroll engraving, retaining traces of colour-hardening, 15 3/8in. figured stocks including 7/8in. rubber recoil pads, No.1 cracked and repaired at hand, No.2 with light damage to fore-end wood, weight 6lb. 15oz., in a brass-cornered leather case containing original engraved steel heel and toe plates
