for 1902, with blued slide milled with frontal serrations, blade fore-sight, hammer safety rear-sight converted to conventional, the right side marked 'AUTOMATIC COLT CAL .38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS', the left 'BROWNING PATENT PAT'D APRIL 20 1897' along with the Colt address, plain frame with no slide hold open, external spurred hammer, chequered hard rubber grips and heel magazine release, the base of magazine marked 'PAT'D SEPT 9 1884', fair traces of faded finish throughout
