29 1/2in. Krupp-steel nitro reproved barrels with file cut rib, the tubes with ornate foliate Krupp-steel trade marks and engraved 'A.G. SCHULZE. BREMEN', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and true cyl. choke, left wall thickness below recommended minimum, complex scroll-back quadruple-grip action with clamshell style side-bolsters, the toplever operating a single Purdey type sliding bolt locking into central front lump with a horizontal sliding bolt locking into two rear lumps and a further Greener type crossbolt, gold pin cocking-indicators, Greener type manual side-safety, substantial horn triggerguard, border and Germanic scroll engraving, the side-bolsters engraved 'PATENT KNEIFEL', the underside with a carved vignette of a roebuck, retaining traces of original colour-hardening, 13 7/8in. semi-pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, small horn and bone oval to pistolgrip, sling swivels and horn buttplate, fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release catch and sculpted horn finial, weight 6lb. 9oz.
