circa 1740, with two-stage 9 1/4in. iron barrel, moulded boat-shaped crescent fore-sight set back from the muzzle, moulded band at intersection and carved longitudinal flutes to breech, the topmost signed 'LAZARINO COMINAZO' (rubbed), radiused pointed tail lock with moulded border and carved scroll-work to tail, hammer-breast and front of frizzen, broad carved frizzen spring, bridle-less foot, walnut full-stock with moulded tear-drops and carved borders around the iron furniture (old repairs to fore-end), semi birds-head butt, engraved butt-cap with moulded borders, florally carved apron around the top-tang, rococo winged side-nail escutcheons, later horn fore-end tip and replacement ramrod
