* A .710 PERCUSSION SERVICE MUSKET FOR CANTON SCHWYZ, serial no. 200, COMPLETE WITH BAYONET
unsigned, circa 1840 and converted from flint, with Belgian proved brushed bright (as issued) 41in. barrel, the breech signed 'SCHWYZ' together with the deeply struck serial number and the Coat of Arms of the Canton Schwyz, large applied brass fore-sight blade, large moulded rear-sight to front of top-tang, plain bevel-edged lock with radiused tail and inlets from the conversion, walnut full-stock with dished cheek-piece and iron furniture, two barrel bands, twin banded nose-cap and iron under-barrel ramrod, complete with its matching number socket bayonet (no scabbard)
