dated for 1860, with five-groove rifled 33in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight graduated to 1100yds., commercial proofs at breech, borderline engraved lock engraved with a crown over the date and 'TOWER' in a crescent behind the hammer, chequered walnut three-quarter stock, iron furniture including two 'Enfield' type barrel-bands, iron nose-cap and jag-ended under-barrel ramrod, some pitting to exposed iron surfaces
