circa 1845, with round twist iron 33 1/2in. browned barrel signed 'SAMUEL NOCK REGENT CIRCUS, LONDON' (refreshed), the signature terminating in a starburst, bead fore-sight, short scroll engraved sighting rib to breech, engraved top-tang, border and scroll engraved bar-action lock and hammer (traces of colour), chequered walnut half-stock, iron furniture and original ebony ramrod
