A GOOD 9mm PINFIRE PEPPERBOX REVOLVER, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
probably Belgian circa 1870, with blued ribless six-shot rifled barrel-group detaching for loading via a front-mounted catch, the forward section of each barrel with scroll engraving, scroll engraved blued open iron frame, brushed bright spurred hammer and ring trigger and fitted with smooth bag-shaped ivory grips, the metalwork retaining much original blued finish
