serial number part of original Mauser number and on flag safety, bridge and bolt-release catch only, 23in. nitro proved barrel (Birmingham 2000 proof marks), including muzzle break, block-mounted open sights and ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, receiver with thumb cutout, square section recoil blocks, hinged straddle floorplate with push button release, all the metalwork in the white except for a scroll-engraved and colour-hardened pistolgrip-cap, figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, horn finial, chequered grip and forepart, 14 3/8in. pull including 5/8in. rubber recoil pad, weight 8lb. 3oz.
