28in. replacement nitro barrels, the ribs gold inlaid '1' and '2' and spuriously engraved 'J. PURDEY & SONS. AUDLEY HOUSE. SOUTH AUDLEY STREET. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in all, Purdey self-opening actions, converted from non-ejector, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, No.1 with arrow cocking-indicators, the No.2 likely replacement tumblers, articulated front triggers, best fine bouquet and acanthus scroll engraving, brushed bright and re-blued finish overall, 14 3/4in. replacement stock (No.2), 15in. replacement stock (No.2), Hackett-type fore-ends, weight 6lb. 6oz. (No.1) 6lb. 7oz. (No.2), in a double leather guncase
