circa 1855, with blued octagonal 5 1/2in. barrel, the left hand top-flat with London proofs, pillar fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, plain five-shot cylinder (matching number), two-piece frame marked on the right 'KERR'S PATENT' along with the serial number, the left side stamped 'LONDON ARMOURY', single action mechanism, borderline engraved back-action lock signed 'LONDON ARMOURY CO' mounted into the chequered walnut grip, iron butt-cap with central lanyard ring and under-barrel rammer, retaining fair traces of original finish
