French or Belgian circa 1770, with half-round, half octagonal 3in. barrel, banded muzzle, scroll engraving to top-flat at breech and top-tang, diminutive lock with scroll engraved pointed tail, unbridled frizzen and lozenge pan, walnut full-stock with carved borders around the furniture, engraved iron mounts including long spurred butt-cap to the swollen pommel and complete with original bone-tipped wood ramrod, the iron surfaces lightly cleaned
