Belgian produced circa 1855 and possibly signed for Gallyons, Cambridge, with reblued 5 7/8in. octagonal barrel fitted with dove-tailed front and rear-sights, plain reblued stepped six-shot cylinder, open frame of pinfire form, brushed bright exposed hammer and guarded trigger, chequered walnut bag-shaped grips and plunge-type ejector, together with a later leather full-flap holster of service form
