A .550 FLINTLOCK SINGLE-SHOT SERVICE-PISTOL, MODEL 'LONG SEA-SERVICE', no visible serial number,
circa 1805, with iron tapering 12in. barrel, moulded band at breech, Tower proofs, solid squared tang, borderline engraved lock marked with a crown over 'GR' device forwards of the hammer and 'TOWER' at the tail, walnut full-stock with carved apron around the top-tang, Board of Ordnance stamps and dated '180?', heavy brass furniture with iron nails, iron belt-hook and possible replacement brass-tipped ramrod
