A PAIR OF 40-BORE FLINTLOCK BOXLOCK POCKET-PISTOLS, no visible serial numbers,
circa 1810, with round tapering 1 3/4in. barrels, rounded London proved breeches, squared boxlock central hammer actions signed 'RYAN & WATSON within a panel on the left and 'LONDON' within a similar panel on the right, sliding safes behind the hammers, walnut slab-sided butts with oval escutcheons to the wrists and concealed automatic triggers
