A .650 FLINTLOCK CAVALRY HOLSTER-PISTOL, no visible serial number,
circa 1800, with tapering iron 9in. barrel, the top signed 'LONDON', the breech with carved band and London proofs, solid plain top-tang, borderline engraved bevel-edged lock with pointed tail and signed forwards of the hammer 'H. NOCK', borderline engraved hammer, walnut full-stock with slab-sided bag-shaped butt, brass furniture and captive iron ramrod, the pommel of but amateurly carved with a letter 'B'
