A BOXED .22 BARREL-COCKING AIR-PISTOL, MODEL 'PRE-WAR MKI', serial no. 40016,
circa 1935, with 7in. barrel, pull-back locking-catch, blued stepped air-chamber marked 'WEBLEY AIR PISTOL MARK I' and 'MADE IN ENGLAND' and six lines of patents on the right and 'WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD BIRMINGHAM'' together with five lines of patents on the left, rotating safe above the trigger and smooth walnut straight grips, the left inlet with a Webley 'winged bullet' medallion, complete with its dark blue card carton, instructions inside the lid, blue card sample pellet carton, loose parts list, cleaning brush and spares envelope, virtually all its original finish intact
