circa 1880, possibly commercial, with blued 21 1/2in. barrel, fore-sight blade with side protectors, elevating ladder rear-sight, plain blued receiver with no details, walnut butt-stock, iron furniture, walnut three-quarter fore-end with moulded iron nose-cap, no provision for bayonet and iron under-barrel clearing rod, much, apparently original, finish
