29 3/4in. nitro reproved (in 2017) bold damascus barrels, broad rib engraved 'NAGEL & MENZ HOFBUCHSENMACHER IN BADEN BADEN', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, permanently-attached unchequered fore-end with key release (repaired) and replacement horn finial, slender toplever, carved percussion fences, rebounding back-action locks, fine feathered border engraving and bold acanthus scrollwork, with scrolling banners engraved 'NAGEL U. MENZ. HOFBUCHSENMACHER. IN BADEN & STRASSBURG.', retaining traces of colour-hardening, 13 3/4in. figured stock (very minor crack at hand) with sling swivels and engraved steel heel and toe-plates, weight 7lb. 1oz.
