circa 1870, with nickel-plated flip-up 2 7/8in. barrel group, the top sighting rib signed on two lines 'E. REMINGTON & SONS ILION N.Y. ELLIOTS PATENT DEC 12TH 1865', plated frame with rotating locking lever, spur trigger, smooth walnut birdshead grips and fair traces of plated finish (some areas of frosting)
