of 7,600 produced for the bi-centenary of the American Revolution, with 5in. blade etched on the right side with a banner marked 'SPIRIT OF 76' within a field of personalities and patriotic symbols, the reverse plain, maker's name in gothic script at hilt, polished brass cross-guard, figured hardwood finger-grooved grip scales, the right inlet with a shaped brass plaque relief etched with 'AMERICAN REVOLUTION BICENTENNIAL' flanked by the dates '1776' and '1976', in its cedarwood presentation case, the inside of lid lined in burgundy satin gold blocked with 'SPIRIT OF 76 BUCK KNIVES and the 'hammer the blade' trademark, the lower tray lined in crushed burgundy velvet and complete with its matching number commemorative medallion, certificate of authenticity, a promotional postcard featuring the knife and a printed 'Word From the President of Buck Knives', the whole appearing unused
