circa 1880, with blued octagonal 32in. barrel, the top-flat dove-tailed for an adjustable position rear-sight and signed 'C.A. FISCHER & SOHN, HOFBUCHSENM: LUBECK', dove-tailed adjustable ivory fore-sight blade mounted on a moulded plate, elevating tangent rear-sight, border engraved colour hardened slab-sided receiver with dropping breech-block, no provision for safe, border engraved top-tang integral with the moulded action side-cheeks and mounted with a pan-headed aperture sight, walnut half-stock with chequered wrist, carved raised cheek-piece, border engraved Swiss heel-plate, engraved complex trigger-guard forming the under-lever, double-set triggers, plain fore-end with narrow moulded schnabel tip and jag-ended iron under-barrel clearing-rod, much original finish and colour remaining
