W.1.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 3/4 choke, rounded bar action with removable striker discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, rolled-edge triggerguard, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, retaining much original colour-hardening and finish, 15 1/8in. well-figured replacement stock (by the makers), weight 6lb. 15oz., in its brass-cornered leather case
Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that the gun was ordered on the 10th August 1978 as a single gun, round body, two triggers, 29in. barrels, for a Mr P. Ligertwood
